Mais c\u2019est apr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudes en Management International que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert l\u2019importance de la communication interculturelle et de l&#8217;adaptabilit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0J\u2019ai longtemps travaill\u00e9 avec une \u00e9quipe Marocaine. M\u2019adapter \u00e0 leur culture a \u00e9t\u00e9 primordial. Le rapport au temps, \u00e0 la hi\u00e9rarchie, le mode de prise d\u00e9cision, la formulation des feedbacks sont autant d\u2019aspects culturels qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaire de maitriser pour mener \u00e0 bien notre projet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Gestion du temps<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mon rapport au temps est monochronique<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>, c\u2019est \u00e0 dire que j&#8217;ai int\u00e9gr\u00e9 une perspective du temps lin\u00e9aire et tangible, la norme en Occident. En France, nous acceptons 5 \u00e0 10 min de retard, voir un quart d\u2019 heure dans ma r\u00e9gion d\u2019origine. Dans d\u2019autres cultures, le temps est polychronique, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire flexible. Cela signifie que nous sommes dans l\u2019approximatif: \u00ab <em>Appelons-nous dans quelques jours\u2026<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb. Mais que veut dire quelques jours? deux? quatre ou sept jours? Cela peut engendrer des situations inconfortables, voir frustrantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: medium;\">&#8220;Nous n\u2019avons pas pu faire la moiti\u00e9 du programme que j\u2019avais pr\u00e9vu. Apr\u00e8s cette premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e, je suis rentr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel d\u00e9pit\u00e9e. Voulant bien faire, j\u2019avais \u00e9tabli un planning chronom\u00e9tr\u00e9 pour permettre aux participants de travailler apr\u00e8s les sessions et de ne pas rentrer trop tard chez eux. Vous devinez la suite\u00a0? \u00a0Nous avons commenc\u00e9 avec une heure de retard et les pauses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plus longues que pr\u00e9vues. J\u2019ai d\u00fb faire une bonne s\u00e9ance de sport pour me calmer\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Puis je me suis rappel\u00e9e du Mexique, de mes amis qui me disaient: \u00ab <em>Ahorita, pasamos por ti<\/em> \u00bb (on passe te prendre maintenant ou dans cinq minutes) alors qu\u2019ils n\u2019\u00e9taient m\u00eame pas appr\u00eat\u00e9s. D\u00e8s le lendemain matin, j\u2019 ai pris un moment pour expliquer \u00e0 l\u2019 \u00e9quipe quelles \u00e9taient mes contraintes, mes besoins et mes attentes. Nous avons \u00e9tabli ensemble des r\u00e8gles communes . Suite \u00e0 cela, le respect de l\u2019agenda n&#8217;a plus \u00e9t\u00e9 source de frustration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Plus tard, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 amen\u00e9e \u00e0 m\u2019adapter \u00e0 nouveau, lors d&#8217;un projet men\u00e9 en Scandinavie. Ce sont des cultures tr\u00e8s \u00e9galitaires. \u00a0Le rapport au temps et \u00e0 la hi\u00e9rarchie y sont tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents de ceux au Maroc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le rapport \u00e0 la hi\u00e9rarchie<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: ABeeZee; font-size: medium;\">&#8220;Au Maroc, les<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> directeurs ne rejoignaient une session de travail que lorsqu&#8217;ils y avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 convi\u00e9 par un sup\u00e9rieur hi\u00e9rarchique. En Su\u00e8de, les directeurs r\u00e9pondaient pr\u00e9sents aux ateliers, et participaient comme le reste de leur \u00e9quipe<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: ABeeZee; font-size: medium;\">.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Au Maroc, on vouvoie ses sup\u00e9rieurs hi\u00e9rarchiques en signe de respect. Les directeurs ont une place de parking d\u00e9finie \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019enceinte de l\u2019entreprise, de grands bureaux avec du mobilier imposant, et beaucoup de fen\u00eatres. La distance hi\u00e9rarchique est marqu\u00e9e entre managers et collaborateurs, et cela se traduit au niveau de la communication et des modes de prise de d\u00e9cision. Il faut respecter \u00ab la cha\u00eene de commandement \u00bb. Alors qu\u2019en Su\u00e8de par exemple, le management revendique une hi\u00e9rarchie purement fonctionnelle. On peut se r\u00e9f\u00e9rer \u00e0 son N+2, voir son ou N+3, et l\u2019 appeler par son pr\u00e9nom. Cela me parait essentiel pour embarquer \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du <em>Lean<\/em>. A mon sens, le <em>Lean<\/em> ne peut \u00eatre inscrit dans le nouvel ADN d\u2019une organisation sans tenir compte des aspects culturels. Un grand nombre de mod\u00e8les interculturels sont disponibles, parmi lesquels on compte d\u00e9sormais un outils interculturel d\u00e9di\u00e9 au d\u00e9ploiement du <em>Lean<\/em>\u00a0: la boussole culturelle du <em>Lean<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">L\u2019interculturel permet de\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">mieux appr\u00e9hender les attentes,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">d&#8217;y r\u00e9pondre de mani\u00e8re appropri\u00e9e,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">de d\u00e9celer l\u2019origine d\u2019\u00e9ventuelles r\u00e9ticences pour les d\u00e9samorc\u00e9es \u00e0 la source\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Le <em>Lean<\/em> replace les individus au centre de l\u2019 organisation dans le respect de chacun. Il les fait grandir et promeut la convergence vers un but commun. La prise en consid\u00e9ration des leviers culturels, tout comme une prise en charge adapt\u00e9e des freins culturels, favorise un contexte propice au d\u00e9veloppement du <em>Lean<\/em> management, et permet :<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">de partager les points de vue dans le respect des sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">d\u2019\u00e9tablir des <em>r\u00e8gles du jeu<\/em>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">d&#8217;adopter un langage commun et des objectifs partag\u00e9s,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">d\u2019assurer l\u2019alignement<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">C\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cet alignement que nous pourrons mieux servir nos clients et changer ensemble pour nous adapter au monde qui nous entoure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> Terme issu des \u00e9tudes men\u00e9es par l\u2019anthropologue am\u00e9ricain, sp\u00e9cialiste de l&#8217;interculturel Edward T.
